WE League is the Japanese Women Foodball League,started last year. Our creative team & partners (Nadya Kirillova as Creative Director, and most of them are women) designed and finished it. The process was extraordinary.The chair of the league and national team players gathered in the stadium. They kicked the ball and broke the glass walls set in front of the goal.( You know, glass is often used as a metapher for women invisible barriers like "glass ceiling”.)The broken glass was passed to the women glass blower,and reconstructed to the trophy.Most of the making film crue were women as well, like producer, director, camera, music etc. Men just supported to make it real from behind.The medals for winners are also made with broken glass as well.
